The Area Manager Shall Be Responsible For Overseeing Sales, Operations, Compliance, And Team Performance Within a Designated Geographic Region. This Role Ensures Business Growth, Regulatory Adherence, And Effective Stakeholder Engagement While Driving Operational Excellence In a Highly Regulated Industry.

Duties And Responsibilities
Lead And Manage Daily Operations Across Retail, Distribution, And Sales Channels.
Develop And Execute Territory Sales Plans To Achieve Revenue And Market Share Targets.
Monitor Performance Metrics And Implement Corrective Actions Where Necessary.
Ensure Strict Compliance With Tobacco Regulations, Including Age-Verification And Marketing Restrictions.
Train And Guide Staff On Compliance, Safety, And Operational Standards.
Recruit, Develop, And Evaluate Team Members To Foster High Performance.
Build And Maintain Strong Relationships With Distributors, Retailers, And Key Stakeholders.
Collaborate With Marketing Teams To Execute Brand-Building Initiatives Within Regulatory Limits.
Represent The Company In Industry Forums And Regulatory Discussions.
Prepare And Submit Accurate Reports On Sales, Compliance, And Operational Performance.

Educational Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years’ Experience In Sales, Operations, Or Management Within FMCG, Preferably Tobacco Or Other Regulated Industries.
Strong Knowledge Of Tobacco Laws, Compliance Requirements, And Regulatory Frameworks.
Proven Track Record Of Managing Multi-Site Teams And Achieving Business Targets.
Excellent Communication, Negotiation, And Stakeholder Management Skills.
Analytical Mindset With Proficiency In Performance Tracking And Reporting Tools.
