Business Development Officer (MTA)

Our client specializing in both outbound and inbound international diaspora remittances through established global partners such as MoneyGram, Ria, Western Union, WorldRemit, Mama Money, and Send Home, is seeking to recruit a dynamic Business Development Officer to drive MTA (remittances) sales.

Main Purpose of the Role
To spearhead the growth of Money Transfer Agent (MTA) services by expanding the sub-agent network, strengthening branch operations, and ensuring compliance with RBZ regulations, while delivering exceptional service to customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the growth of inbound and outbound MTA sales across branches and sub-agents.
- Collaborate with Operations and Compliance teams to ensure adequate funding of branches and sub-agents.
- Identify, onboard, and actively engage sub-agents to expand the distribution network.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sub-agents and branch teams.
- Promote and grow digital platforms supporting MTA services.
- Address and resolve customer queries related to MTA services promptly and professionally.
- Ensure effective distribution of marketing materials across branches and sub-agents.
- Develop and implement MTA business strategies to drive performance and growth.
- Facilitate training and onboarding for new agents to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) MTA regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
- Commercial degree.
- Sales background is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in managing Money Transfer services (inbound and outbound).
- Ability to travel as required.
- Valid driver’s licence.
