Operations Factory Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage the daily operations of a busy joinery/furniture factory.Joinery, Furniture Manufacturing, Cabinet Making, Shop Fitting, Interior Fit-Out Oversee production planning, workflow, staff supervision, quality control, materials management, and site installation support. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage factory operations, production schedules, and workflow.
- Supervise teams (supervisors, operators, joiners, carpenters, installers).
- Approve drawings, cutting lists, and work orders.
- Ensure deadlines, quality standards, and client requirements are met.
- Implement quality control and health & safety procedures.
- Manage materials, stock, tools, and machinery.
- Coordinate procurement and cost control.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance.
- Liaise with clients, project managers, and suppliers.
- Support site installations and drive efficiency improvements.

Qualifications/Experience
- 10–15 years’ experience in joinery/furniture manufacturing.
- Strong technical knowledge of joinery, cabinet making, and wood machining.
- Proven leadership and staff management skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manage production schedules.
- Hands-on, organized, technically competent, and able to deliver under pressure.
