Job Purpose
To manage and oversee procurement activities within the mining industry, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services, compliance with company policies, and cost-effective sourcing that supports operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with mining operations and project timelines.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing and delivery schedules.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to company policies, mining regulations, and industry standards.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Cost Optimization: Analyze procurement spend and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Reporting: Prepare regular procurement reports, including supplier performance, cost analysis, and compliance metrics

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
3–5 years’ experience in procurement within the mining industry.
Strong knowledge of mining supply chains, equipment, and consumables.
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office tools.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
