Our Client In The FMCG Sector Is Seeking A Highly Skilled And Results-Driven Maintenance Manager To Lead And Oversee All Maintenance And Engineering Functions Within A Manufacturing Environment. The Successful Incumbent Will Be Responsible For Ensuring Optimal Plant Performance, Equipment Reliability, Operational Efficiency, Engineering Project Execution, And Compliance With Safety, Health And Environmental (She) Standards.
Duties And Responsibilities
Develop And Implement Planned And Preventative Maintenance Programmes To Maximise Plant Reliability And Operational Efficiency.
Manage Plant Maintenance Activities To Ensure High Equipment Availability And Minimise Downtime.
Oversee Repairs, Servicing, And Maintenance Of Machinery, Equipment, And Plant Infrastructure.
Develop And Manage Maintenance Budgets, Including Capex And Opex Expenditure.
Monitor Engineering Spares Inventory And Ensure Availability Of Critical Spare Parts.
Lead And Coordinate Engineering Projects, Including Planning, Implementation, Contractor Management, And Commissioning.
Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives To Enhance Plant Performance, Efficiency, And Reliability.
Ensure Compliance With Safety, Health And Environmental (She) Policies, Procedures, And Regulatory Requirements.
Conduct Risk Assessments, Incident Investigations, And Promote A Strong Safety Culture Within The Department.
Lead, Supervise, Coach, And Develop Maintenance And Engineering Teams To Achieve Departmental Objectives.
Prepare And Submit Maintenance, Engineering, And Project Performance Reports To Management.
Qualifications And Experience
Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Engineering Discipline.
Higher Diploma In Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Or Equivalent.
Project Management Qualification Or Certification Will Be An Added Advantage.
Minimum Of 4–6 Years' Experience In A Maintenance Or Engineering Management Role Within A Manufacturing Or FMCG Environment.
Proven Experience In Plant Maintenance, Engineering Operations, Equipment Reliability, And Project Management.
Experience Managing Maintenance Budgets, Engineering Projects, Contractors, And Technical Teams.
Strong Leadership, Planning, Budgeting, Problem-Solving, And Team Management Skills.
Sound Knowledge Of Maintenance Systems, Engineering Best Practices, And She Compliance Requirements.
