Are you a disciplined, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented professional with experience in fuel handling and stock control? Our client is seeking a reliable Fuel Attendant to support efficient fuel operations by ensuring accurate dispensing, stock management, and compliance with established fuel control procedures.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Dispensing diesel and petrol to company vehicles, plant, and equipment while accurately recording all fuel transactions in the ERP system.
• Monitoring fuel stock levels, reconciling fuel issues, and maintaining accurate fuel consumption and inventory records.
• Assisting with fuel deliveries by verifying quantities received and ensuring accurate stock updates.
• Conducting routine inspections of fuel storage tanks, pumps, and dispensing equipment, reporting any faults, leakages, or suspected fuel losses.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and secure fuel bay in accordance with company health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Supporting effective fuel control through accurate reporting, adherence to company procedures, and proper record management.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
• A minimum of five (5) Ordinary Level passes, including Mathematics and English.
• At least one (1) year of experience in fuel handling, stores, logistics, mining, construction, or a similar industrial environment.
• Practical experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for fuel management, inventory control, or stock transactions.
• Hands-on experience with ERPNext will be a distinct advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and excellent record-keeping skills.
